SUMMARY:Invisible Losses: Acknowledging Grief in Caregiving Spaces
DESCRIPTION:This interactive workshop is designed to explore the grief and sense of loss that can accompany the caregiving journey. \n\n\n\n\nThis event is hosted by the Asian American Resource Center in collaboration with Asian Family Support Services of Austin (AFSSA). \nThis interactive workshop is designed to explore the grief and sense of loss that can accompany the caregiving journey. As part of this workshop we will create a community altar as a space for reflection\, remembrance\, and honoring what we may be carrying. You’re welcome to bring a small meaningful item to contribute to the altar. \nThis event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments provided. Registration is required; open until full. \nWe will provide a children’s activity corner with crafts and story time that will be supervised by a staff member or volunteer.
