About the Emerging Leaders Cohort
AFSSA’s Emerging Leaders Cohort launches in Spring 2026 as a 10-week pilot program designed to cultivate early-career leadership, advocacy skills, and community connection within AFSSA’s mission.
The Emerging Leaders Cohort will consist of five sessions held every other Wednesday during March and April of 2026 from 6-9 pm in-person (location TBA). The Cohort will be centered on learning, reflection, and conversation around the anti-violence movement.
Participants will cultivate knowledge and skills that will help them break the cycle of violence and be an advocate in their own communities. We expect to offer an opportunity for community building, social and professional networking, and empowerment.
