A Better Force and Asian Family Support Services of Austin are so excited to collaborate once again to host a free workshop on Countering Anti-Blackness in Asian Communities for #BlackHistoryMonth
In this workshop, we’ll learn about the history of Asian/Black solidarity and anti-Blackness in Asian communities. We will reflect on how anti-Blackness shows up in our circles and how to overcome fears of speaking out against anti-Blackness. Finally, we’ll learn how to unite in community and turn our knowledge into advocacy and action.
