AARC – Meet the Writer: “Khabaar”

Join AFSSA and the Asian American Resource Center for an evening with writer Madhushree Ghosh. Madhushree will read from her memoir Khabaar: An Immigrant Journey of Food, Memory and Family and, in a conversation with “Eater Austin” editor Nadia Chaudhury, discuss her refugee Bengali parents, her own move from India to America, and innovative South Asian chefs, and how they used food to recreate their worlds in a new place and maintain connections with their families and cultures.
