Community Healing
Reclaiming Our Power: From Survival to Self-Determination
This track centers community-led transformation and self-determination as acts of healing and resistance. Sessions on this track will explore how we move beyond reactive systems of care toward proactive, community-driven approaches to safety and accountability.
Participants will engage in conversations and skill-building around collective healing, leadership, organizing, and creating sustainable systems rooted in justice and collective care.
Resistance in Narratives
Stories that Guide Us
This tracks centers storytelling, art, and cultural expression as mechanisms for healing and systems change.
Participants will engage in author-led discussions, local dance and performance groups, improvisational workshops, and community storytelling initiatives that elevate narrative as a tool for collective transformation and organizing.
Intergenerational Justice
Remembering Our Roots, Building Our Future
Grounded in ancestral wisdom and intergenerational leadership, this track explores decolonizing parenting, healthy masculinity, caregiving, boundaries, and communal protection.
Sessions highlight elders’ and youths’ contributions to movement-building while supporting new models of care, accountability, and mutual aid as core strategies for violence prevention.
