We are so excited to announce our quarterly book club “Reading to Resistance” hosted by Asian Family Support Services of Austin and A Better Force 🐎❤️🔥📚
Reading asks us to pay attention, both to ourselves and the world around us.
Our book club discussions will be a space to reflect on how these teachings can point us to a path of collective safety and liberation.
In our first session, we will be discussing Know My Name by Chanel Miller, a memoir that documents Miller’s experiences of being a sexual assault survivor and how the system is stacked against survivors, even in clear cut cases.
